  • ResolvedUTC
Resolved. Meta fixed the defect in its reporting API on October 21 at 20:03 UTC, and new Facebook Ads data loads with correct values. We have re-loaded the affected dates for the affected extractions - a few extractions with long histories are still finishing and will be complete within the next hours. Re-running Facebook Ads extractions is safe again. No action is needed on your side.
  • UpdateUTC

Meta has confirmed the issue. In reply to our bug report, Meta Support confirmed that this is "a known defect on our side" and not an issue with Improvado's integration, and that their "engineering team has identified the cause and is working on it". Meta has not shared a fix date yet.

In the meantime, our workaround remains in place: new Facebook Ads data loads with correct values, and we continue re-loading the affected dates. No action is needed on your side. We will keep this page updated.

  • MonitoringUTC

On October 21, Meta's reporting API returned zero spend, impressions, clicks and reach for some ad accounts, and Facebook Ads extractions that ran that day before our fix saved these zeros. The issue is on Meta's side, and we have reported it to Meta. A workaround has been in place since 17:45 UTC, and new data loads with correct values. We are now re-loading the affected dates for all affected extractions. The corrected values will reach your dashboards and destinations with the regular data loads.

No action is needed on your side. Please don't re-run or backfill Facebook Ads extractions yourself - we are doing this for you. We will post an update here once the re-load is complete.

  • IdentifiedUTC

Since October 21, Meta's (Facebook's) reporting API has been returning zero values for spend, impressions, clicks and reach for some ad accounts. As a result, the affected Facebook Ads data in Improvado shows these metrics as zero for recent dates. Conversions and link clicks are not affected.

This is an issue on Meta's side. We are monitoring it closely and working on restoring the correct data for the affected dates. Until then, please avoid manually re-running or backfilling Facebook Ads extractions, as this may overwrite previously loaded data with zeros.

We will post an update here once the issue is resolved.
